These two pictures are of Mister Scherman himself in 1960–the right-hand one is a publicity shot of him as “Billy Donahue,” pop singer. Hear "Billy's" hit "Oh, Darling" HERE.
Unidentified play: LARRY LOONIN writes of these two photos that they might be "newspaper headline shows" which...(ran) for about 10 minutes between the other plays of the evening...I would xerox about five or six copies of a "crazy story" from the Daily News (usually) and hand it out to members of the audience right after the first show of the evening....
